Excellent Heating Pad

I read all these reviews before I bought mine. At first I thought it didn't heat enough (like one review said). It definitely does. Use it for a while (just one time) and you will see. It works with your body. Love the softness of it (not hard plastic like my other more expensive one is). Cover is soft and inside workings aren't hard. The size is quite good also - used on my lower back and then on my neck. Really like the option of Auto Turn Off OR Manual settings (gives you control). Cord is plenty long and well placed. Controls are super easy to use. My cat likes it too! Bought a second one for husband. They travel with us!

Best Heating Pad I've ever tried. Moist Heating Option is Amazing. Great for Sore Muscles and Bad Back

I was excited to hear about this heating pad. I have a really bad lower back and have noticed when the humid weather is here my back feels better than normal. So when I seen the MOIST HEATING OPTION I was looking forward to trying it. You can spray the microplus side with a mist of water or dampen it with a sponge so as it the pad heats it's giving you a moist heat. That really helps with my lower back pain. 5 year warranty is a huge plus. It's also washable. That's a very nice feature. 6 heat settings: 1=Warm 2=Low 3=Medium Low 4=Medium 5=Medium High 6=High The 6 settings are great. I've had many heating pads in the past where Medium isn't hot enough, while High is too hot. This gives you more options so you can find the heat amount that's perfect for your needs. It has a auto-off feature that turns the pad off after 2 hours of continuous use. The feature can be turned off however, so the pad stays on until you manually shut it off or unplug it. The larger size is great. It's 24 inches long and 12 inches wide. It covers much more of the area that's in need of the heat. It's also not made of that vinyl material that most other heating pads are made of, that always end up getting all twisted and become useless after awhile. This one is great. It's soft, it's comfortable and it's doing a fantastic job. I give the PureRelief XL heating pad a 5 star rating. It's a well made high quality item.

Awesome Heating Pad at a Reasonable Price

This is exactly what I was looking for in a heating pad, at a reasonable price. It is a good size, it has an easy-to-use control, with 6 heat settings, and yes, it really gets hot! It is soft and flexible to use. Right now, I have an arm injury (tendonitis), and it is easy to wrap it around my arm. In fact, I just took a photo of my using it while I type this! I haven't used the moist heat capability yet, but I am glad that is an option. I also like that it has the option to turn off after two hours. I carefully researched all the available heating pads in this approximate price range, and decided to go with this unit. I am very happy I did!

Consistent Relief for Sore Muscles

The husband, while fairly physically fit, is on his feet all day and regularly uses a heating pad at night to relieve sore muscles: particularly the back and hips. In the course of five years he has burned out three heating pads, this being our fourth, and the one he seems most happiest with. I’m rather astonished that it has a five year warranty. Considering our history with heating pads, this could be the best investment we’ve made in a while! The larger size (12” x 24”) is great, allowing for more muscle(s) to be covered. Simply perfect for sore backs! The cover is composed of a thick, fleece-like fabric and washable, 100% polyester. (Washing instructions: Do not use bleach. Do not use wringer. Wash in cold water on gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat or line dry.) There are six settings, varying in heat. You can select whether you’d prefer to have it automatically turn off in 2 hours or for it to stay on continously. Having a husband who either falls asleep or runs to work, leaving a whirlwind of chaos behind him, the 2 hours setting is fantastic! (I believe his previous heating pad turned off automatically after 1/2 hour. This caused one to either not be completely at ease mentally – anticipating the shut-off; or be caught off guard and suddenly realizing your sore parts are cold and achey again.) I know some have enjoyed the moist heat option, but we have not tried it, yet. It’s nice to know the option is there for eventual use.

PureRelief XL Heating Pad - only got 9 months out of it - Jan 2019 updated review to 5 star

Well it worked great for 9 months, it was comfortable and got nice and hot, and then started the flashing F and nothing I did worked (went on product website,etc.), so I'm done with this brand. I use on almost a daily basis but we've had Sunbeams that lasted 10 - 20 years under same usage, so back to Sunbeam or other. December 2017 update: Company sent me a replacement, thanks very much. I will follow up within the next year to give an update on how the replacement is faring. January 2019 update: rating updated from 1 star to 5 since the replacement heating pad is working wonderfully. It was used on pretty much a daily basis for the past year for up to 8 hours a day with no problems, it stays hot and will continue to be used at the same rate. I recommend this product based on the good customer service and the replacement pad's reliability.

Stopped working and buttons stuck.

I ordered mine and I was really happy to get it. It worked wonderfully for a while but suddenly, last night, it just stopped working. The power button and the button that changes the shut off from two hours to manually of stuck and now if it does turn on it only stays on manually off and won't change. I'm seriously afraid to use it now I case it short circuits. I was seriously in love with this heating pad too, so it really sucks that it's useless to me now.... **UPDATE**** The company called me the Monday after submitting this review and sent me a new one free of charge. They were very helpful. I got my new one in a little over two days but I'm supremely happy they replaced it for me. As such I am changing my rating to five stars. It really is a very good product.

I may have to purchase another!

This product lives up to all of these fantastic reviews! Unfortunately, it has been occupied since I turned it on so I hope to get a turn soon.

So Many Great Features!☆☆☆☆☆

Just arrived...my Pure Enrichment XL heating pad. Love how quickly it heats up. It is sooo & cushy too. I selected this product because of the 9 &;cord, the large size, the automatic shut off and the many settings. I have been using the bean bag-microwaveable heating pads. They heat doesn't last and there is the complication of letting them stay in the microwave too long. Originally I purchased for an upcoming trip but now this is my everyday heating pad for my back and neck issues. Very pleased!!!

Ignore the few bad reviews, GREAT product!

This heating pad is so much better than the crinkly cheap sunbeam heating pads everyone's grandparents have. The cover is super soft and plush, this is the side that goes against your body. It does not come off but it does unplug from the cord and is still machine washable. (DUH how do you think heated blankets are washed) the people saying it doesn't heat enough must have some bad wiring in their houses cause mine works perfectly. Currently using for menstrual cramps with the heat setting on 3 and I had to turn it down because it was too hot! It is not crinkly. It is however flexible and easily contours to my body. The size is perfect as well! No complains.

Gets hot fast!

This has become one of my all-time favorite Amazon purchases!! When it arrived, it was more narrow than I had expected, but now that I've been using it I feel that the size is perfect!! I also like that it is so flexible! I can wrap it around my leg and it covers the whole thing!! ... I do caution against falling asleep on it though, I did that and woke up feeling a bit like my insides were swollen. Yuck!! I also have slip mine down into a skinny little pillow case I had to keep it from getting dirty. I'm not kidding, this little heating pad is one of my favorite things!! And yes, it goes up to six settings that get really hot fast!! Update: I now have two of these. I can’t remember the reason I bought it a second time, something about having one for work and one for home. (Relatively discrete butt-warmer) but now I have them both at home and they are my Precious(es)!!! ... I may even end up a third, just in case, I don’t know, apocalypse or something. Do yourself a favor, buy like, seven... just in case. Soooooooo good to be warm!!
